Growing up around the game of golf, I had always had a strong desire to one day be able to play one of the historic British Open courses. Having watched the British Open for decades on television, I became fascinated by just about every aspect of links golf – especially the history. Each year that went by, the desire to make the trip across the pond only intensified. It wasn’t until a family vacation to the UK, that I finally had the opportunity to make this bucket list dream a reality. I have since been fortunate enough to have visited the region on numerous occasions and have had the opportunity to be able to play every British Open Rota course, including the 2019 host – Royal Portrush. During my visits, I have also made a concerted effort to get off the beaten path and visit some of the lesser known courses that dot the landscape from SW Ireland all the way to the Scottish Highlands.

Looking back on my journeys to the birthplace of golf, the one thing that stands out is how I was able to gain a newfound love of the game. These special moments inspired me to want to assist other golfers plan their dream vacations to the UK, Ireland and the United States. My vision is to be able to provide guests with an experience of a lifetime, not just on the course, but from the moment they step off the plane to the moment we shake hands and say goodbye at the airport. Having played in Scotland, Ireland & Northern Ireland, I understand the trip is much more than just checking off golf courses and speeding off to the next town. It’s about great food, quality accommodations, first class transportation, sightseeing, and experiencing the historic golf venues of the world.

I am proud of the fact that Links Traveler is one of just a few operators to have visited every current and future British Open venue, and many of the other historic courses throughout Ireland and the UK. This experience makes us uniquely qualified to handle every detail of your once in a lifetime golf vacation. We do not believe in providing our guests a menu option of courses with little to no flexibility when it comes to golf, lodging & dining. That’s why we are committed to working with guests to fully customize a vacation that fits the goals of your group, and this includes the option to have an experienced 24/7 personal concierge to make sure every detail is looked after. This commitment to our guests is what sets us apart from other international operators.
